Portsmouth, NH - November 10, 2008 - Timeshares123.com, LLC (www.timeshares123.com), a timeshare rentals and sales classified website and advertising agency for people selling or renting timeshares, today announced that it has extended the free listing introductory period through the end of November.
New Rates Postponed and High Traffic Level Continues
The new listing rates, which were to have gone into effect on November 10, 2008, have been postponed through the remainder of the month of November. This is due, in part, to the significant number of website visitors and listings in the first full month of the timeshare classified website. In the first full month of operation, the www.timeshares123.com classifieds website has seen almost 500,000 hits and approximately 115,000 page views. A page view is a count of each time a webpage is viewed, which includes timeshare classified listings.
In addition to the high traffic levels of people viewing timeshare listings, individual timeshare owners have listed nearly three quarters of a million dollars in timeshares for rent and for sale. Approximately 90% of the listings are timeshares for rent, with an average rental price of around $1,750 per week. Since timeshares123.com is strictly a timeshare classified service for timeshare owners, and does not handle the paperwork on offers, there is no data available on how much has been made in offers on listings. "The amount of traffic to our timeshare classified site is very strong and continues to increase," said Erik Crago, CIO of Timeshares123.com. "Based on the high levels of traffic, significant number of listings, and continued growth, I expect that our website traffic will grow to ½ a million hits per day and 125,000 page views per day by the end of December," noted Crago. "Timeshares123.com is quickly making its way up the search engine rankings, and we have no plans of slowing that down. This means more traffic to our customer's timeshare classified listings," said Crago.
